2000 Pokémon The Movie Promo Ancient Mew – PSA 10 GEM MINT

Travel back to the turn of the millennium with one of the most iconic promotional cards ever released: the Ancient Mew. Distributed exclusively at theaters during the screening of Pokémon The Movie 2000, this card holds a special place in the heart of every collector who grew up in the Wizards of the Coast era.

Why is this PSA 10 worth the investment?
While raw copies of Ancient Mew are common, a PSA 10 GEM MINT example is a true rarity.

• The "Impossible" Grade: Printed with a unique Double-Sided Holographic finish, this card is notoriously sensitive to surface scratches and print lines. Finding a copy that survived the original cellophane wrapper without a single flaw is incredibly rare.

• 10x Value Multiplier: Because of the low "Gem Rate," a PSA 10 commands a massive premium over a PSA 9, making it a prestigious "Blue Chip" investment piece.

• International History: This is the specific 2000 International Release (distinguished by the "Wizards" copyright info on the back), the exact version distributed in North American theaters.

Card Lore & Features:

• Runes of the Ancients: The text on the card is written in Futhark Runic (Medieval) and Gothic Runes, translating to stats like "Little God" or "Mirage."

• Holo Pattern: Features the stunning "Cosmos" style speckle foil that shines brilliantly under light.

• Back Design: The only Pokémon card in history (besides the Japanese "Trade Please") to feature a completely different, non-standard card back.[3]

Certification Details:

• Grading Company: PSA (Professional Sports Authenticator)[2][4]

• Grade: GEM MINT 10

• Release Year: 2000[3][5][6]

• Version: International Movie Promo (Wizards of the Coast)

• Verification: Cert number is verifiable on the PSA website.[1]

Collector’s Note:
Don't mistake this for the common raw cards found in old binders. This is a pristine, museum-quality survivor. A PSA 10 Ancient Mew is not just a card; it is the ultimate trophy for the Pokémon movie generation.
