1999 Pokemon Gym Challenge 2 Blaine's Charizard Holo PSA 9

Ignite your vintage collection with one of the most aggressive and beloved Charizard artworks of all time. This is the 1999 Japanese Gym 2 (Challenge from the Darkness) Blaine's Charizard, graded a spectacular MINT 9 by PSA.

Unlike the English release that followed later, this original Japanese printing features the classic "Pocket Monsters" card back and the superior print quality that vintage Japanese cards are famous for. Illustrated by the legendary Ken Sugimori, this card captures Charizard in a fierce, fire-breathing pose that defines the "Gym Leader" era.

Why This Card is a Must-Have:

• Investment Grade (PSA 9): A PSA 9 Mint grade represents a card that is virtually flawless to the naked eye. It offers the premium appeal of a high-end collectible without the exponential price jump of a PSA 10, making it the "smart money" choice for investors.

• Iconic Artwork: This is one of the few cards where Charizard looks truly dangerous. The holographic background contrasts beautifully with the massive flame blast.

• Vintage Japanese Pedigree: Released in 1999, this card predates the English "Gym Challenge" set. It represents the authentic origin of the Gym Leader mechanic.
