1999 Pokemon Gym Challenge 2 Blaine's Charizard Holo PSA 8.5

Capture the ferocity of the Cinnabar Island Gym Leader with this exceptional 1999 Japanese Gym 2 (Challenge from the Darkness) Blaine's Charizard. This card has been graded a PSA 8.5 (NM-MT+), a rare "half-grade" that signifies a card superior to a standard Near Mint 8, often missing the Mint 9 grade by the tiniest of margins.

For collectors who demand high quality but want to maximize value, a PSA 8.5 is the ultimate find. It offers the stunning visual appeal of a high-end card without the premium price tag of a PSA 9 or 10.

Illustrated by Ken Sugimori, this artwork is legendary for depicting Charizard in a roaring, combat-ready stance, a stark contrast to the peaceful vibe of the Base Set Charizard.

Why This PSA 8.5 is a Smart Buy:

• The Rare Half-Grade: PSA 8.5 grades are much harder to find than 8s or 9s. They represent a distinct tier of quality—essentially a "Mint" card to the naked eye with only microscopic imperfections.

• Japanese Quality: Featuring the classic "Pocket Monsters" back, this Japanese original is printed on high-quality card stock that makes the holographic flames pop.

• High Liquidity: Vintage Charizard cards are the "blue chip" stocks of the Pokémon TCG. They remain the most traded and desired cards in the hobby.
