Design & Artist

Conceived by Kasing Lung—the Hong Kong-born, Belgium-based visionary behind THE MONSTERS and its beloved protagonist Labubu—this plush doll encapsulates his signature aesthetic. Lung’s work merges East Asian pop culture influences with Nordic folklore motifs, yielding designs that are whimsical yet globally appealing. Since the 2015 debut of THE MONSTERS (first as an illustrated narrative, then as a line of vinyl toys), his creations have become a staple in the designer toy landscape.
